Who is Alpha Omega Epsilon?
Alpha Omega Epsilon is a social and professional sorority composed of female engineering and technical students and alumnae. The sorority promotes ideals and objectives that further the advancement of female engineers and technical scientists. At the same time the Sisters of Alpha Omega Epsilon build life long friendships built on sisterhood as well as continue to strive for academic excellence.

What is The Haven Animal Care Shelter?
The Haven Animal Care shelter is a non-profit foundation, established by in 1977 by Dr. Brenda and Joe Wilbanks. The Haven ACS is a no-kill, non-profit animal sanctuary that care for over 100 animals. They occupy a 7 acre property wide where provide a home to animals with chronic illness and those who are elderly along with a wide variety of adoptable dogs and cats in need of loving homes.

What is Puppy Run?
Puppy Run is an annual event that Alpha Omega Epsilon has been organizing since 2014. This year we have decided that our partnering organization will be the Haven Animal Care Shelter. The proceeds made from this event will be divided equally between Alpha Omega Epsilon's goal to further women in STEM and The Haven's goal to find a home for every animal in need.

Why should I register for Puppy Run?
Fifty percent of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Haven Animal Care Shelter and their quest to end animal homelessness. The other fifty percent will be used by Alpha Omega Epsilon to help promote women in engineering and technical science majors.

If I'm not a runner what else is there to do?
The Haven Animal Care Shelter will be bring puppies and dogs that will be available for adoption! Additionally, there will also be breakfast, a DJ, a photo booth, drawing for prizes, and snow cones! So if you don't feel like running, come out and support Alpha Omega Epsilon and The Haven Animal Care Shelter. Don't forget to dress up your fur babies in their most adorable attire, the best dressed pooch will win the A.O.E annual Puppy Run costume contest!
